Ahron Young is an Australian journalist currently serving as the Melbourne bureau chief and anchor for Sky News Australia.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Connect - Sky News Team )〕 Young joined Sky News Australia in 2006 as a reporter, before moving to sister channel Sky News Business upon its launch in 2008. He then moved back to the news channel, becoming the bureau chief of Melbourne managing 12 staff. In this role, he has also hosted his own program ''The Melbourne Report'' and "Victorian Agenda". Young and Celina Edmonds host the annual Sky News New Year's Eve celebrations from Melbourne and Sydney. Young also anchors news programs from Melbourne and the Sky News Centre, including Newsday, Newsnight and National News. Young has toured Afghanistan, reporting on the withdrawal of Australian troops, and reported from north Queensland as Cyclone Yasi made landfall. In 2012, Ahron reported from Bali on the 10th anniversary of the Bali bombings. In December 2014, Ahron anchored First Edition live from Cairns, in the aftermath of Australia’s worst domestic tragedy - the murder of eight young children. In April 2015, Young reported on the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign from Anzac Cove on the Gallipoli peninsula, including the Dawn Service and the memorial at Lone Pine.
